While in San Francisco last fall, and after running in the Nike Women's Marathon I might add because I'm proud of this accomplishment, I stayed with some dear friends for a couple days. They have added two beautiful daughters (radiating from the inside to out) since the last time we all saw one another. A short walk from their home is China Beach so off we went for an evening adventure. Pushing bedtime and potential meltdowns, I had to be full of reassuring confidence that we could pull off some great, natural portraits. My confidence proved correct as it could not have been a more perfect evening. One that will linger a lifetime in my memory and always provide me with a smile on my face and a glow in my heart.
There's something to be said about children and the beauty that unfolds when you let them roam during a portrait session. There's also something to be said about lighting and time of day that the photos are taken. The below session is what I consider perfection and is why I keep coming back for more. ~ Beth
p.s. Thanks to Heather and Katherine for being fantastic travel/running companions and for casually stepping in when needed and assisting me during this session. Read Heather's blog post about our NWM run HERE.
